2012 Blues Music Awards Feature Kansas City nominees

The 33rd Blues Music Awards will be Thursday May 10, 2012 at the Cook Convention Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Close to 100 nominees attend and the night is filled with performances in the Convention Center’s ballroom. The event brings together Blues performers, industry representatives and fans from all over the world to celebrate the best in Blues recordings and performances from 2011.

Some Kansas City favorites have been nominated, including:

Trampled Under Foot – Best Band, DVD (The Emporium to the Orpheum) and Best Bassist

Samantha Fish -Best New Artist Debut Runaway
